Last week, I was fortunate enough to attend a wedding workshop 'Shoot & Hustle'. It was held at the awesome Holmes Mill, Clitheroe, Lancashire. Have you ever been? It is an amazing location. Being a Ribble Valley girl, I like to go there for food and drink (when I get the chance. Having small children makes it very difficult!). So when I got the opportunity to go on this workshop, I jumped on board!
Anyway, the day was hosted by 4 amazing wedding photographers, each of which I admire. They had planned the day to a high standard. They had worked with local businesses to get amazing flowers and fabulous hair and makeup artists. There were 2 sets of models for the photographers to shoot and learn from. My husband and I were the morning couple. The dress that I wore came from a local bridal shop (I've sneaked a photograph in of us. This particular one was taken by Rachel from Rachel Joyce Photography. She was one of the hosts (and is totally amazing!). See if you can spot us).
The day wasn't just about taking gorgeous photographs. It was also about how to run your own business, marketing and much, much more. It was also fabulous as I got to work along side 20 other very talented photographers from all over.
After the workshop had finished, most of us stayed for some amazing food. We had earned it after all!
