This is my first family blog. I am always taking photographs of my family and decided it is time to write about them. The weather has been so rubbish recently and both of our girls love to be outside. They are always pestering to get outdoors. Recently, I have been a bit naughty and putting it off. I also love to be outside, I just hate the mess that two children and two dogs make in the mud. Anyway, it was a lovely morning yesterday, so I decided it was time to embrace the chaos! So, wellies on and my husband, the girls, the dogs and I all jumped in the car and drove across to Clitheroe Castle. It's only a 10 minute drive from our family home in Langho.

The colours at this time of year are simply amazing. There was loads of leaves covering the ground. The kids and the dogs thoroughly enjoyed playing in those! In fairness, I think my husband did too. Whilst they played, I captured some fantastic images of them doing so. We walked up to the Castle and had a look round. Our eldest loved pointing out interesting things to look at. She was keen to spot the house that she first lived in (until she was 3 weeks old). You'll probably notice that in a couple of the images, both girls are sporting a pair of sunglasses. Their idea, not mine. We have somehow raised two little divas! Well, you never know when the sun is going to come out.... Our dogs wanted in on the posing action too. Only after that had run round like Usain Bolt and Mo Farah for 30 minutes! They were probably glad of the rest!

After a good explore of the grounds, we were talked in to going for a play on the park. They were both so well behaved that we couldn't say no. Although by this time, I was starving. I managed to bribe them away with the promise to go for a naughty lunch at McDonald's, or Old McDonald's as the girls call it. Yes, on the way back to the car, Daddy and I ended covered in mud as both girls complained of sore legs!

I really enjoyed my shoot with the girls and have decided to offer Autumn mini shoots on 19th November, again at Clitheroe Castle. The sessions will last 30 minutes and you will get 10 downloadable images from the session for just £50. Please contact me if you would like to book a slot.
