Did you know, as well as being a newborn and family photographer, I also specialise in pets, partially dogs? Dogs are also important members of our families so why shouldn't they have a photo shoot?
I've been a massive dog lover all my life and I have always had at least one dog by my side. Earlier this year, we had to make the horrible decision of putting our beloved boxer dog to sleep. She lived to the grand old age of 13 and the time was right for her. She had been with me pretty much all of my adult life. As you can imagine, she had been through so much with me (and us). I'm just glad that 5 weeks before she passed away, I took a cracking photograph of her with our 3 year old daughter. That's now on a large canvas on our lounge wall, displayed proudly.
If you have seen my website already, you will know we also have a gorgeous black Labrador. He is 7 years old now. He doesn't act it. Daft as a brush springs to mind! He regularly gets pulled in by me for a spot of modelling. I can't help it. He's just too cute!
Anyway, this week we have adopted a new boy! He is a 10 month old Border Collie cross. As you can imagine, I was keen to get a few photographs of him. He is also going to make an excellent model. He and my Labrador are already best of buddies. Our girls instantly fell in love with him and our cat is getting there. He is the perfect addition to the Green family.
I have attached some photographs of my dogs, along with some other gorgeous dogs I have had the privilege of photographing.
Please contact me if you would like to book your pooch in for a photo shoot. I can do it inside in a studio set up, at your home or on location.
